Vet: The Builder Behind xrp.cafe and a Quiet Force on the XRPL

In the XRP Ledger ecosystem, some of the most important infrastructure is created by people who simply stay and keep shipping. Vet (@Vet_X0) is one of those figures.

Best known as a co-founder of xrp.cafe — the leading NFT marketplace on the XRPL — he has spent years contributing as a validator operator, educator, Space host, and protocol participant while remaining deeply embedded in the community.

From Early Holder to Ecosystem Builder

Vet has been part of the XRP world since around 2017, drawn in by the community and the broader conversation around the ledger. What began as interest in the asset evolved into hands-on technical involvement. In 2022 he launched his own validator (xrp.vet), which has operated on published Unique Node Lists associated with both the XRPL Foundation and Ripple. Additional tools and community infrastructure have come from the same orbit, including early NFT token-gating bots for Discord that became widely used, and later utilities such as an RLUSD tracker. The through-line is practical: identify a gap on the ledger, build something that people can actually use, and keep improving it.

Vet’s public presence is characteristically low-key and constructive. He is often referred to in connection with the blue mushroom PFP that dates back to the early days of the XLS-20 NFT standard discussion. His posts and Spaces tend to focus on education, ecosystem growth, partnerships, and the longer arc of the XRPL rather than daily price noise. He has also been involved in business-development efforts around xrp.cafe and related projects, helping expand the platform’s reach (including notable collaborations such as work involving SBI in Japan).

In a space that can sometimes feel fragmented between pure speculation and deep technical work, Vet occupies a useful middle ground: a long-time community member who understands the culture and has the technical inclination to ship real products.

The XRP Ledger’s public story is shaped by protocol developers, large infrastructure players, and independent builders who turn the ledger’s capabilities into usable applications. Vet represents the latter group with unusual consistency.
