When Trueo originally selected Base for its launch, Ethereum mainnet gas fees remained prohibitively high for many users, making the Layer 2 solution an attractive initial venue. Trueo co-founder "Lumberg" articulated the platform’s long-term vision in supporting the mainnet transition. "Ethereum is the best chain for the most credibly neutral and truthful oracle system and prediction markets," the co-founder stated, framing the migration as alignment with core principles.
